Welcome to my practice! My name is Mireya Roe, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in working with individuals ages 15 and up, utilizing a variety of therapeutic methods tailored to your unique needs. With expertise in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I am pleased to help you navigate the challenges of trauma.
Along with trauma, I am dedicated to helping you manage and overcome mental distress, including anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and bipolar disorder. I believe in a holistic approach, recognizing the vital connection between your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Every individual is inherently worthy of inner peace and happiness, and together, we will work towards becoming the healthiest version of yourself. I’m thrilled to share a bit about myself with you. Born and raised in Colorado, I now call Arizona home. My journey has been shaped by a deep desire to serve others, and I truly love my work as a counselor. Having faced my own challenges, I understand that trials can affect us all, and my faith has been a guiding light through tough times. When I’m not helping clients, you can find me reading, hiking, biking, or enjoying quality time with friends and family. As a military spouse, I’ve had the privilege of exploring diverse cultures around the world, and I believe that learning is a lifelong journey. Most importantly, I cherish the opportunity to connect with and support others.
